“I’m Not Great With Technology… But This Was Surprisingly Easy”

👋 I’ll Be Honest About This

I’ve never been someone who enjoys figuring out new technology.

If something looks complicated…
I usually avoid it.

Too many steps, too many menus, too many things that don’t make sense.

🤔 Why I Almost Didn’t Try This

When I first started looking for an alternative to cable, my first thought was:

“This is probably going to be complicated.”

That alone almost stopped me.

I didn’t want:

  • a long setup
  • confusing instructions
  • something I’d have to constantly fix

🔍 What Made Me Try It Anyway

Eventually, I decided to give it a shot.

Not because I was excited about it…

But because I was more frustrated with my cable bill than I was worried about the setup.

👍 What Happened Next Surprised Me

It turned out to be much simpler than I expected.

No complicated process.
No technical headaches.

Just:

  • plug it in
  • follow a few simple steps
  • and it was up and running

💡 What I Noticed Right Away

The biggest thing for me was this:

👉 I didn’t feel overwhelmed

That’s usually what happens when I try something new with technology.

But this felt different.

It just made sense.

⚖️ Is It Perfect?

No.

And I think that’s important to say.

But it doesn’t need to be perfect.

👉 It just needs to be simple—and it is.

🔄 What Changed for Me

Since switching:

  • I’m not dealing with the same frustration
  • I’m not worried about figuring things out
  • I just turn it on and use it

And that’s all I wanted.

If you’re wondering what you actually get with this and whether it’s worth it, I broke that down here:

If you’ve ever thought:

“I’m not great with technology, so this probably isn’t for me…”

I felt the same way.

💬 Final Thought

Sometimes the hardest part is just getting started.

Once I did, I realized it wasn’t nearly as complicated as I thought.
